Zhang Jihan (China) – It is so nice to feel that they care about us. We now have a lot of different foods, thanks to the university.

Liu Yijia (China) – We had no potatoes in our room. I was just about to go to the store to buy some, when the university brought us a whole package of potatoes, enough to last us for a long while. Hurrah! Special thanks to everyone who has shown us care during this unfortunate time.

Yang Zhou (China) – In the month of February, after arriving from China, I was quarantined for 14 days in a sanatorium outside the city. I was handed a large package, it contained a letter from the university, juices, fruits, candies and much more . I sent the photo home to my parents, they were touched by the concern that was shown to me. And today they came to the hostels with food and each student was given packages of products. Now I know that in Russia people are kind, open and generous.

Hong Zixiao (China) –    I had surgery, where my appendix was removed. After that experience, I am convinced that the best doctors are found here in Kazan because of how professional they are and how well they do their work. Also, my teacher was always there to support me and to bring me all the medicines that were prescribed  by the doctors. I realized that at KFU we have the best teachers, no doubt about it! When they handed my friends and I food packages and said that they would do this every week, I realized that this is the best university in the world! In every aspect of our lives here, starting from our academics to our personal needs, we are cared for. Am truly humbled and it is for this reason that I would love to become a diplomat. I will always be grateful to Russia for this.

Wu Di (China) – Due to the quarantine and for our own safety, we leave the hostels only when it’s necessary. For example when we need food and groceries but today we got the food we need from the university! I am very thankful for this kind gesture. I will prepare a delicious Chinese dish from the food I received to treat my roommates from Colombia.

Rodriguez González Jennily (Colombia) – Today at the Universiade Village, we received food from the university. I consider this a very good initiative, kind and supportive. This is to me an act of good governance and concern for our well-being. Thanks to KFU for this gift and for the willingness to help us.

Riveros Cubillos Christian Andres (Colombia) – I would like to thank the university for helping us as we are going through these difficult times. It is really nice and encouraging to get support from the university.
