On July 5, the Foreign Graduates Day took place in the History Museum of KFU. This event is held annually by the Department of External Relations of KFU with the support of the Department for Youth Policy, Social Issues and Development of Physical Culture and Sports Education System of KFU for international students and students of the preparatory department.
The speakers of the conference included T.B.Alishev, acting Dean of the Preparatory Faculty for International Students of the Kazan Federal University, Deputy Rector for External Relations, O.A.Vershinina, Director of the External Relations Department, S.A.Tsvetkov, Head of the Department for Adaptation of Foreign Students and L.V.Vakhitova, Deputy Dean of the Faculty for Academic and Social Work.
All speakers wished foreign graduates success in professional fulfillment, achieving all goals and creative success.
During the event were marked graduates who distinguished themselves in academic and scientific activities, contributed greatly to the development of student government and international relations. Among them were graduates of the preparatory faculty:
1) Aslam Hannan.
2) Nguyen Thi Thu.
3) Yousef Ali.
Kazan Federal University educated 2105 international students, 1414 of them are the students of the University educational programs (Bachelor’s, Specialist’s, Master’s, Postgraduate and Residency Programs), 691 are the students of the preparatory department for international students in the academic year 2020-2021.
