Excursion to the house of the Tatar scholar Shigabutdin Marjani

On April 29, 2023 excursion for students of humanitarian area of pre-baccalaureate preparation from groups 20-2202B, 202206B, 20-2211B, 20-2217B, 20-2221, 20-2223B, 20-2224B, 20-2237B was held.

The students saw the monument and the house of the Tatar scholar Shigabutdin Marjani (1818-1889). The house of the outstanding philosopher, historian and educator Marjani was a kind of center in the Old Tatar Settlement.

Opposite the Marjani house are two buildings that belonged to the Kazan merchant and public figure Burganutdin Mullin.

Our students met with students from Ulyanovsk, the conversation was fascinating.
