13.04 African students of Preparatory School visited Island of Sviyazhsk .
The students were told the history of the 16th-century Trinity, Sergievskaya and Nikolskaya churches, the Cathedral of the icon of the Mother of God, and the women’s progymnasia.
It is a unique historical, town-planning, architectural and artistic and natural landscape monument of the XVI-XX centuries, which attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world. The scale and image of the historical and architectural environment is preserved, which is in harmony with the unique beauty of the natural environment. This creates a unique image, creates a strong emotional impression and forms the basis of the historical and cultural and exposition potential of Sviyazhsk. Monuments of Sviyazhsk – Uspensky, John-Precursor Monastery, Trinity Church, Cathedral of Our Lady of All Grieving Joy – were carefully reconstructed.
Our students visited the sights with a guide and visited the Sviyazhsk History Museum. Undoubtedly, this will help students to understand the Russian language and culture of our country.
