The ceremony of awarding diplomas of doctors and candidates of sciences was held at the Museum of History of Kazan University. Dmitry Tayursky, the first Vice–Rector for Scientific Activities of KFU, congratulated the scientists on the award of degrees.
Assistant of the Department of Russian Language of Pre-bachelor’s degree preparation of the Preparatory Faculty of KFU Anastasia Sesorova was engaged in scientific work at the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication under the guidance of a professor at the Department of Russian Literature and Methods of Teaching at IFMC Alexey Pashkurov. In an interview, the candidate of Philological sciences shared that the topic of her dissertation is related to the work of the Russian poet Alexander Polezhaev is a contemporary Alexander Pushkin. The study examined the opposition of “beauty – death” in Polezhaev’s poetry.
