Why did you choose this particular\nuniversity?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nI\nhold a Russian state scholarship. I was told that Kazan Federal\nUniversity was one of the best universities in Russia, and Kazan is a\ngood and interesting city. Unusual culture of Kazan appears to be\ninteresting for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n<strong>2)\nHow did you imagine your life in Russia before coming here?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nAt\nfirst, of course, I studied a lot, studied Russian intensively. Then\nI was preparing for cold weather. I bought a lot of warm clothes. I\nasked friends who live in the north what to buy and how to get\nprepared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n<strong>3)\nWhat particularly surprised you in the real life of Russian people?\nWhat unusual problems did you encounter in Russia?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nI\nwas surprised that not many people speak English. Therefore, at first\nit was very difficult in Kazan. There was a transport problem. I\nlived in the south and it doesn&#8217;t snow there. But here in winter, the\ntrolley bus often suddenly stops running. And we are constantly late\nfor classes (but in addition to this, we are a bit lazy and want to\nstay in bed longer).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n<strong>4)\nWhat did the training at the preparatory school give you? What did\nyou especially like (or you remember) in your studies at preparatory\nschool?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nThe\nstudy gave good experience and trained memory &#8211; especially major\nsubjects. They have been helping me a lot so far. I have the best\nteacher of the Russian language: young, smart and hardworking. In\nfact, all my teachers are good. The classes were interesting. We\nstudied together, discussed various issues, laughed. I really miss\nthat time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n<strong>5)\nWhat would you advise your compatriots if they decide to study at KFU\npreparatory school?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nThis\nis the best period to learn Russian. Do not waste your time. Try now,\nthen studying at university will be easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n<strong>6)\nWhat are your impressions of Kazan? What did you especially like?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nKazan\nis a beautiful and hospitable city. I liked the Kaban lake. In the\nsummer I strolled there, I was amazed. What a beautiful landscape!\nThere are also many museums and libraries. The Kremlin is also very\nbeautiful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n<strong>7)\nWhat would you wish to (or what advice would you give) to future\nstudents of KFU?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nAs\nLenin said, \u201cstudy, study, and study again! And of course I wish\nthem all the best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n<strong>8)\nWhat do you consider to be your main achievement in studies and work?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nIn\nmy opinion, the most important thing is that I can use language and\nknowledge to help people. I am a member of the students\u2019 union and\nhelp people. I became a guide and translator. I participated in the\ncompetition in English and Russian languages \u200b\u200band earned\ncertificates.
