for listeners of the English Program"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Beginning of Classes at the Preparatory Faculty of Kazan Federal University<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dear students,<br>We are pleased to inform you that classes at the Preparatory Faculty of Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University will begin on November 3rd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Format of Studies<\/strong><br>For students in Kazan: classes will be held offline at the following addresses:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>25\/22, Kremlevskaya Street<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>12, Isaeva Street<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For students outside Kazan: classes will be conducted online via Yandex Messenger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Communication and Access to Yandex Messenger<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For communication and online lessons, we use Yandex Messenger.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can download it using the following link: <a href=\"https:\/\/yandex.ru\/support\/yandex-360\/business\/messenger\/ru\/start\/download\">https:\/\/yandex.ru\/support\/yandex-360\/business\/messenger\/ru\/start\/download<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To log in, use your corporate login and password from your personal account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your teacher will add you to a group chat in Yandex Messenger and will send you the class schedule there.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you study online, the teacher will connect with you via video call in Yandex Messenger according to the schedule.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Important Information<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to paragraph 59.9 of the &#8220;Rules for Admission to Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University&#8221;, the presence of additional education in supplementary general education programs corresponding to the competitive profile (that is, the Certificate of the Preparatory Faculty) grants an additional 5 competitive points when applying to the university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>To receive the certificate, you must pass all tests and exams with at least 56 points.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Grading System<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The maximum number of points a student can receive per semester is 100, consisting of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>50 points for current academic performance (classroom work, attendance, tests, homework, etc.);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>50 points for the final exam.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Evaluation scale:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>86 points or more \u2014 Excellent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>71\u201385 points \u2014 Good<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>56\u201370 points \u2014 Satisfactory<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>55 points or Federal University (KFU) for the period of your studies, you must confirm your need for accommodation in your personal account by selecting \u00ab\u043f\u0440\u0435\u0434\u043e\u0441\u0442\u0430\u0432\u0438\u0442\u044c \u043e\u0431\u044f\u0437\u0430\u0442\u0435\u043b\u044c\u043d\u043e\u00bb in the designated field.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Afterwards, please submit a dormitory accommodation application through your personal account.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Travel and Notification Procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>After purchasing your tickets to the Russian Federation and to Kazan, you must send copies of the tickets to podfak.du@kpfu.ru no later than 10 days before arrival.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This is necessary so that the staff responsible for accommodation can plan your check-in time and include you in the official dormitory accommodation order.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Notification of your dormitory bed space allocation will appear in your personal account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For example: <em><mark documents for check-in, including obtaining:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A Voluntary Health Insurance Policy, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Medical Certificate for Dormitory
